This game was designed for people with some forgetfulness all the way to people with the beginning of late stage dementia. However, since gardening is a universal topic, persons with no dementia find the game to be an enjoyable way to start conversations and it makes a great activity for intergenerational groups as well. To play, cards are handed out to players and, for example, the game leader shows the picture card of a cucumber and asks Who has the cucumber? The player with the card holds it up and the game leader asks How would you use the cucumber? What would you make with it? and the player could say I would make pickles. After discussion, the player puts the card in their basket.
